Maggie is from a small town in Southeastern Michigan. It was while growing up here she learned to appreciate spending time outside, traveling, and working with her own two hands. Maggie has been drawn to sound and photography for as long as she can remember. Working her way up from polaroids to disposable cameras to her first digital camera at the age of eight.
Maggie Roback studied art and design at Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan. Here she discovered that working with video allows her to bring her two passions of sound and photography together. Through her practice and studies Maggie has uncovered a passion for storytelling and helping others have their voices heard.
